Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really proceeding.
